Let me tell you a bit about myself. I was born and raised in south Florida and yes, I speak fluent Spanish. I lived on Singer Island which is just across the inlet from Palm Beach. I grew up working with my parents at their various restaurants throughout the years. At 21, I broke away from the family business, opened and operated a Resort Shop. I met Gene, my husband, who is a retail executive in 1989. We married soon after and have a 17 year old son and a 13 year old daughter. Due to the nature of my husband's job in retail we were relocated several times. We have lived in Jupiter and Naples, Florida. In 1998, Gene was offered a position with Belk Stores in North Carolina and moved to Chapel Hill. For the first time in my life I got to experience snow!! We were there for 6 years before being transfered once again! This time to Thomasville, Georgia. We had never heard of this small town before and all the information we had was what we read on websites. After living here for 4 years, we are extremely glad that this is where God led us. Our children are enjoying all the outdoor recreation available to them here. Because of them I am very familiar with the school districts (one went to the city schools and the other is at the county school) and the YMCA. One of the best things about Thomasville is the low crime rate which gives the kids more freedom to enjoy their surroundings. I also love the fact there are no highways or a lot of traffic, especially now that our son is driving!! My family and I belong to St. Augustine's Catholic Church parish community. I am a co-founder and current President of a non profit organization called Parker Place. We founded this corporation last July, purchased a building and did extensive renovations with the help of Parker Place members and volunteers. My service industry background and business education made Real Estate a perfect career choice. I delight in putting families and homes together. I give personalized attention to all my clients. Everyone has a unique situation whether they are selling or buying a home. I understand the pressures that come with a job transfer and I work hard to make that process as easy as possible and even enjoyable. There is nothing more fulfilling than helping First Time Home Buyers achieve their dream of owning a home. I walk them through the process including helping them find financial resources. There are several programs/grants available in Georgia to help with closing costs or down payment assistance. I continually take courses to keep myself informed about the market and to improve the quality of service I give to my clients. I am an Accredited Buyers Representative and a certified Relocation Representative. My post licensing courses were in COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE. Latest continuing education classes taken include: Real Estate Finance & Tax Issues; Foreclosures & Short Sales. Give us a call and let us help you achieve your dream!
